Every year in May, a team of Law Enforcement Officers from MN joins with other law enforcement officers from around the world to ride 250 miles from Chesapeake, VA to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial (NLEOM) in Washington, DC.  They do this ride to honor Their brothers and sisters killed in the line of duty, and to raise funds for awareness of the NLEOM. The Police Unity Tour, a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization, is the single largest sponsor of the Memorial, having donated almost $6 million since the tour's inception in 1997.

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial is a tribute to all federal, state, and local law enforcement officers. Engraved on its blue-gray marble walls are the names of nearly 19000 officers who have lost their live in the line of duty. The Memorial Fund receives no government or taxpayer revenue; instead it relies on the contributions of organizations such as ours and individuals such as yourself.
